California Hub and Spoke System Integration
The California Hub and Spoke system was established to increase access to medications for addiction treatment to address the opioid epidemic by creating a network of treatment providers across the continuum of care. Opioid Treatment Programs, or “Hubs,” offer all FDA approved medications for opioid use disorder and partner with “spokes” that offer medications most often in an outpatient setting, providing “no wrong door” for people to receive treatment for a substance use disorder. This regional learning collaborative will focus on improving integrated care across hubs and spokes in the network to improve community access to care, especially considering recent updates to federal guidelines for OTPs.
Note: This event is only for California Hub and Spoke sub-contractors. Sub-contractors will receive registration details for their specific region closer to the event date. You can also email marthacarreon@mednet.ucla.edu to request a registration link for your site.
