This three-part highly interactive learning series, Implementing Evidence-Based Practices in Behavioral Health, introduces key steps to implement an evidence-based model of care and applies the concepts and skills learned to the implementation of SOR projects. Each session will incorporate a provider presentation of the evidence-based practice that they are implementing followed by a peer consultation.

During this first session, attendees will be provided an overview and framework for the series, From Theory to Practice: Implementing Evidence Based Treatment in Behavioral Health. This session’s presentation topic is What does it take to get staff to buy into something new? We will discuss how to message around a new project to elicit staff buy-in and support. We will outline how to create a project plan.
