The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is releasing a second Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit applications from eligible Emergency Medical Agencies to participate in the Emergency Medical Services Buprenorphine Use Pilot Program (EMSBUP).

Applications are due May 5, 2025, at 1 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST). The California Department of Health Care Services, in partnership with The Center at Sierra Health Foundation, announces two separate funding opportunities: Opioid and Stimulant Use Disorder Prevention and Education for Communities of Color, and the Opioid and Stimulant Use Education and Outreach in 2S/LGBTQIA + Communities.
