Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) has been proven to successfully treat opioid use disorder and can be offered in outpatient settings alongside treatment for other chronic medical and behavioral health conditions. However, many providers are unfamiliar, or concerned, with the nuances of providing this treatment in their practices.

Let Health Management Associates’ team of expert clinical faculty help prepare you to add MAT to your practice, scale up an existing MAT program, educate leadership, and better understand how to provide MAT in outpatient practices.

If you are not a site that is a potential prescriber of MAT, but you play a role in addiction treatment and care, you are still welcome to participate. The program features a lot of information that will strengthen your understanding of addiction and of MAT. However, the assessment (introduced below) is not applicable unless you are a potential prescriber site.

Before the first session, participants will complete an individual practice readiness assessment via a Qualtrics link they will receive after registering. After completing the assessment, attendees will receive a summary report showing their level of readiness and highlighting gaps to address before adding MAT to or expanding MAT within their practice.
