Request for Applications (RFA): DUI MAT Integration/Outreach

California Association of DUI Treatment Programs (CADTP) solicits applications from entities that can provide subcontractor services under the California State Opioid Response IV (SOR IV) Driving-Under-the-Influence (DUI) Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Integration/Outreach Pilot Project (DUI MAT Project). The DUI MAT Project helps to reduce recidivism, increase public safety on the roadways, and assists more people in accessing treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and other polysubstance (PolySUD) use disorders through education, substance use assessments, treatment referrals, and monitoring. By incorporating this initiative into the DUI Program’s client services, CADTP can create a sustainable framework that not only enhances current offerings but also guarantees the continued availability of these vital resources for clients, even after the project ends. This strategic integration will foster long-term support and ensure that the benefits of the initiative are woven into the fabric of the program, ultimately improving outcomes for individuals affected by OUD and PolySUD.

While this Request for Applications (RFA) is open to all DUI programs, there is a specific focus on new eligible DUI programs that have yet to engage with SOR, aiming to encourage their participation and development within the SOR initiative. CADTP will accept applications and the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will select up to thirty (30) DHCS-licensed DUI programs in the state of California to participate in the project.
