DHCS released an RFA to solicit applications from Tribal Health Programs, Tribes, or Tribal Organizations within California to increase access to treatment, reduce unmet treatment needs, reduce opioid overdose-related deaths through prevention and treatment, and increase recovery support activities for opioid use disorder and stimulant use through multisector, interagency partnerships with community members, stakeholders and service providers. The project period will be from June 2, 2023, through June 20, 2024. Eligible California Tribal entities providing substance use disorder services can apply for funding ranging from $40,000 to $59,500.
Applications are due by Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
An optional informational Zoom webinar is scheduled for Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PST, which will detail application requirements and answer questions.
